Number Story Cards to 20 at KS1

Here are 5 pages of maths story cards for your cross curricular maths lessons.
Each page has 6 picture cards with 6 corresponding question cards.
Children read the questions and write the answers or say the answers.
This tests comprehension as well as understanding and use of maths vocabulary.
Numbers involved are up to 20 and there are some questions around measures too.
Another activity that works well is to cut out all the cards and give them out in class so each child has one. Children put themselves into pairs if they have the correct picture card to go with the question card.
