Preterit tense sentences with conjugation practice (Regular verbs)

For each infinitive type (-ar, -er, -ir), choose any one and write the present tense conjugations. Then, in the last column, add 4-5 words for any one subject (person) to create an original sentence. Vary your subjects (don’t choose the same subject for every infinitive)

*Students will conjugate 3 infinitives for all persons and write 3 preterit sentences.

*On the last page, students will answer 6 personal questions (2 -ar, 2-er, 2 -ir)

  • A table with -ar, -er, -ir preterit endings is included.

This practice can be used for classwork, homework, quiz, review, entry / exit slip.
