The purpose of using #GoForItApp is to provide active participation for all students as well as to allow the teacher to see how many students were correct and confident. On the other hand, students feel that the randomised name generator is a much fairer process than the classic “hand raising”.

▸ PDF registers from SIMS (an example of a class register is included, so you will be able to test the app straight away).

This app does two invaluable things:<br /> <br /> it allows you to train yourself to memorise student names, and it has very useful starter generator machine that picks student names at random.<br /> <br /> This incredibly handy for keeping your starters fresh in terms of variety and style, and in terms of assessing ALL learners in your session, even in subjects other than maths. The process to make your own retrieval practice questions and other starters is easy to follow (you can design any style of question), and the app itself is user-friendly and invaluable. The built in timer and name memorising features are an excellent touch. Works well in Chrome and Explorer.
