This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 3 (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds, NOCN and Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, editable, 110-slide PowerPoint lesson and a 42-page workbook on statistics.
These resources will help pupils to achieve these outcomes:
extract information from lists, tables, diagrams and charts and create frequency
tables
interpret information, to make comparisons and record changes, from different
formats including bar charts and simple line graphs

PowerPoint Lesson
Many opportunities are provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of tables, diagrams, charts, bar charts and line graphs. The PowerPoint has links to three short videos on tally charts and frequency tables, bar charts and line graphs. It is ideal for introducing the statistics component of the specification and for revision purposes.

I bought this as part of a bundle about a year ago and have been using with great success to support our SEN learners in sixth form. There is more than enough material to support the EL3 scheme of work and my students loved how visual it was. This has saved me hours of planning and I have been able to use as much or as little as needed from the workbooks. I love how there are worded questions at the end of each topic booklet as this is often the area that students need extra practice. Now that I'm teaching Entry level 2 this year, I will be looking through the resources here to purchase some as I know how good they are!
Entry Level 3 maths bundle is awesome resource, especially for our SEN setting. Everything you need to teach the full course with engaging powerpoints and very detailed workbooks for each unit. The workbooks are very extensive, accessible for all learners and a wealth of visually pleasing questions. This resource has hugely simplified my planning and enabled me to easily personalise the learning for each student in my class. Clear powerpoint to work through
Amazing resource, For our SEN school a lot of the children benefit from having such a colourful easy layout resource. All the teachers that I have shown them too and amazed by how easy and simple it is to follow using the PowerPoint with the class. Will defiantly be purchasing the other bundles very soon.
