Each slide includes 4 questions mainly covering place value skills and the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), money (£), shape and some fractions. Several slides also include additional challenge questions. Every slide is has a pastel background, uses OpenDyslexic font and also links to a timer. Students can complete the Fast 4 on a mini whiteboard or in their books.
This set includes a mix of fluency and reasoning and problem solving.
Creating retrieval practice lesson starter slides is one of my least favorite things to do - yes it’s easy, but it’s so tedious! So I collected all my Fast 4 slides together in one easy place so I can adapt and reuse instead of starting from scratch every time. Simply copy and paste the slide and tweak as needed.
