KS3 Y9 Blues and Jazz

KS3 Y9 Blues and Jazz

This is a SOW that I've run this year with Y9 in an all boys school. I was really pleased with the outcomes they managed to achieve - they attempted to perform up to 60 bars of music on keyboards and all students managed to put something together. I approached this with a strong emphasis on practical performance - I did very little talking. I ran this for 5-6 lessons with warm-ups at the beginning. Inside the ZIP file is: 1) Detailed SOW with breakdown of activities, developments etc. 2) Worksheets for each lesson 3) Assessment Criteria 4) Some rough examples of student outcomes
