Water - Lesson 1 This lesson and it's resources focuses on where is water in the world. It introduces the key words for this topic and also gives students an insight into what they will learn during this module. Activities include a word search, a matching activity, a labeling exercise and a homework task. All resources have been attached.

This resource contains a full lesson with a series of activities (Class discussion, information extraction, complete the sentence and also a GCSE style exam question (And possible solution) This is great for KS3 to try and will give them an idea of what is expected of them at KS4. After a recent Ofsted inspection our department has come up with a 'Check in System' in for pupils to review how they like learning. This form has worked wonders for us and has allowed us to get to know our pupils, especially our PP pupils (Pupil Premium), SEN & MAP (More Able Pupils) much better. It must be shown that all students are making progress (Especially since the introduction of the Progress 8 scores) From using these forms we have come up with strategies to help students who are not attaining or reaching their target grades and we have initiated intervention strategies.
