This is a follow on resource from the previous upload. Whole Class Read Non-fiction PowerPoint and comprehension booklet for the book: I Wonder Why Penguins Can’t Fly and other questions about polar lands by Pat Jacobs. A Whole Class Reading PowerPoint presentation containing 5 lessons (approx. 15 minutes each day). With a comprehension booklet for each child to answer questions worded in the same way as the Year 2 SATS comprehension paper.

A Whole Class Read following on from the previous two weeks about the Great Fire of London. This weeks read talks about how London looked after the fire and how it looks now. Taken from the information book ‘The Great Fire of London’ by Emma Adams and James Weston Lewis. Include powerpoint and booklets to print off for each child. A great way of practising SATS reading paper skills.
