Hi Language feeders, I have just created the MFL literacy codes for my department to use during marking. These will be printed and shared with students to help them work through feedback in a more independent way. I have also added a model answer to each Literacy codes for the students to easier identify how to correct or improve their written work both in Spanish and French. Feedbacks and sharing will help us grow as a team! hope you like the resource, Feed Language team.

Hello Language Feeders, This time I bring to you a display for your MFL classroom. My Book should look like… is a visual display of how learners should have their books presented in lessons. The Display is editable and could be easily translated to other languages and transferable to other subjects. If you liked it please give us some nice feedback, it will be most appreciated! Kind Regards, Feed languages.

KS3 KS4 Spanish/French vocabulary GCSE Revision

Hello Language Feeders, Here you have an activity “out of context” that is to say that you can do at any stage of the school year. The activity has a lot of play, but I will tell you about some of the things I do with this file. Activity 1 The students have 10 minutes to name the greatest number of emojis or ideas that these emojis evoke. After 10 minutes as a competition, the student with the most emojis or ideas will be in charge of organizing the rest of the class into groups for the next stage. Activity 2 For this part, the students must compare the answers among themselves to increase their number of words, as a prize I usually say that the group with the most words will be able to choose which other group they want to join for the final activity. Activity 3 With the use of dice we can create “real stories” using real examples, exams or “impossible stories” (it has the same effect, since to find out what is impossible they first mentally shuffle the possibilities of what is possible) creating fun group stories . Activity 4 For this activity, each group will translate the story of another group and they will read it in their mother tongue and out loud to the rest of the students. I hope you liked the idea, if so, a comment would be truly appreciated. Until the next idea!
