A pdf of a 22 slide PowerPoint that situates charts/graphs in the data handling cycle.
It covers collecting, presenting, sorting and analysing data along with bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, decision tree diagrams, two-way tables, flow charts, Venn diagrams, stem & leaf diagrams and scatter graphs.
A Powerpoint version is available here:

There is at least a weeks material for GCSE lessons and will be useful for revision classes or an overview of the concepts involved. So, far instance, much greater depth would be required for averages. Please review it if you download it and do put it to good use.
If you think this is good, think about purchasing the PowerPoint. It allows the teacher to introduce the key ideas to students via animated slides. Most of the ideas are easier to access through animation and slow reveal.
A spreadsheet that makes clear the links between graphs of quadratic functions and intercepts, turning points and symmetry. It is completely editable.
It works best with a=1 since the aspect of completing the square and bracket factoring need a more sophisticated approach (version 2?).
It includes a blank template for students to complete. Let me know in a review if you have any further suggestions for improvement.
‘Forming and solving equations’ questions for maths lessons.

A pdf of 20 puzzles/games. This provides spatial awareness practice, CAT4 practice and cognitive abilities test practice.
Difficulty: Level 3 Hard.
Cut out cards and rearrange to make tracks. Use symmetry, rotation, reflection and 90 degree angles to complete the tracks.
Track cards are inspired by the amazing Serpentiles originally published by ThinkFun but no longer manufactured.
The PowerPoint is available with the correct answer highlighted for each of the 20 puzzles. It can be downloaded here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-12919926
A pdf of 12 short puzzles. This provides spatial awareness practice, CAT4 practice and cognitive abilities test practice.
Difficulty: Level 1 Easy.
Cut out cards and rearrange to make tracks. Use symmetry, rotation, reflection and 90 degree angles to complete the tracks.

A spreadsheet that displays the multiples and factors of two or three integers.
Input 2 or 3 integers and multiples are highlighted in 1-100 number squares. One square shows the multiples of the first integer. Another shows the multiples of the second integer. The third shows the multiples of both.
The same is shown for factors.
There are 5 sheets:
a) factors of two integers (three 1-100 number grids)
b) factors of three integers (seven 1-100 number grids)
c) multiples of two integers (three 1-100 number grids)
d) multiples of three integers (seven 1-100 number grids)
e) multiples of two integers (one 1-1050 number grid)
The sheets are protected so students/teachers can only type in integers in the correct cells. They can be easily unprotected to make changes.
I would welcome any suggestions for improvement.
A pdf of a 6 slide PowerPoint that uses Couch to 5K as a context for thinking about time, distance and speed.
The cards and tables of each C25K session are useful to initiate class conversations about components of speed and how to go about getting fitter.
Ratio and percentages can also be explored using this context.
The PowerPoint is available with the correct answers and spreadsheet containing the constructed charts which can be edited. They can be downloaded from here:

To play this Maths game, students need to know the following:
multiples
digits
prime numbers
square numbers
making a calculation using one operator (+, -, x, ÷)
using bingo cards
Designed by James Muldoon (11) and Barbara Muldoon.
A progression of mental maths strategies for addition and subtraction from a basic level to GCSE level.
The strategies are grouped as ‘Change’, ‘Split’ or ‘Jump’. It invites students to change a problem, to an easier form, before splitting numbers or/and jumping along the virtual number line that exists in their heads.
This is a useful resource for Maths teachers of all age groups to see what are the next steps for their students and also to see the range of different possible strategies available.
