Hi, I’m Leanne Michael — a professional dancer and qualified ISTD dance teacher with over 20 years’ experience, including extensive work in music videos, television and film. Since moving into dance teaching, particularly within schools, I’ve noticed how little support is available for teachers who are expected to teach dance but don’t have a dance background themselves. That’s why I created The Dance Club’s ready-to-teach six-week lesson plans, alongside clear and practical dance resources for school teachers, dance teachers and parents. Each resource is shaped by real classroom and studio experience, making dance simple, engaging and enjoyable to teach — with no previous dance experience needed.
