A basic assembly I used with sixth form students but could be adapted. The discussion is happiness and the top ten happiest countries are shown. There is then a discussion on the Danish concept of hygge. A prayer is included and a notice board slide. There is a vote which students can take part in which touches on a topical issue of our time

I am busy writing new schemes of work for the Year 13 new a level course. I would welcome comments on this entire lesson. Very basic old resource that has been knocking about since the modular GCSE days. Around 20 questions on each number topic at the foundation level. Everything is covered from the four rules to ratio, percentages, lots of fraction work. Nothing fancy just a list of questions to be done (very "10 ticks", but without the clipart!).
