I am passionate about learning that is tailored to children's interests and gives lots of opportunity for children to be creative and critical thinkers. I love activities that involve problem-solving and teamwork. I think it's important that learning materials cater to a variety of learning styles and get kids moving, using their hands to make things, and appeal to them visually. I also try to make my teaching have real-world applications whenever possible.

Ramadan lanterns are so beautiful and a special symbol of Ramadan, so this hands-on craft is a great way for students to show what they know about Ramadan. Making a craft is fun, it’s engaging, and it makes learning about special days and months more memorable.
The craft is very easy to assemble, and I’ve included options for six designs, and three line sizes.
There are two possible ways you could use this craft:
Children write facts about Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr on a lantern craft.
Children make art projects using the templates, with crayon and dye, paint, torn paper, or markers.
What’s included?
templates for the lanterns in 1-inch, 3/4 inch, and 1/2 inch line sizes
