Empire Windrush. Caribbean Immigration to UK

Dear Reader, This lesson teaches on the experiences that Caribbean immigrants faced when coming to UK. It aims to have students matching general knowledge and original sources while developing their writing ability. All of my lessons have a same-model structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, and always understand where they are at in their learning: First slide ( questions to revise learning-date-word bank-previous lesson and next one-image to connect to the topic.) Second slide (learning objectives and a question on the main topic). Three tasks based on levels of difficulties. The third task is always a written one, matching the GCSE writing framework. The two first tasks are group or class-assessed, the third is individual and gives you the chance to go around the class and support writing on one on one. Homework, reading resources and task templates are included. This work should be ideal for Ks 3r and is already set as slideshow.
