This is a set of 4 worksheets (24 pages in total). I used this to prepare my own students for the English component of the ISEB Pretests. They can be quite challenging, so they are appropriate for those preparing for the ISEB 11+ tests as well. Questions are in multiple choice format. The question style is very similar to the actual ISEB Pretests. The 4 worksheets: Worksheet 1: Grammar, Spelling and Sentence Completion Worksheet 2: Voabulary, Punctuation and Sentence Completion Worksheet 3: Spelling and Punctuation Worksheet 4: Grammar, Punctuation and Sentence Completion Answers provided. Contents: 故事 – Drawings of story, story in Mandarin with Hanyu Pinyin and questions about story 词汇学习 – Practice writing new words from the story (with step-by-step stroke guides on how to write each character) 语文练习 – Practise using new words from the poem with short vocabulary exercises 复习 – Revising new words learnt Recommended way of using worksheet: Teacher is to read out the story to children while children follow along with the drawings. Then, teachers ask children simple questions about the story.
