A 20-paged worksheet. Includes all the punctuation students need to be familiar with in accordance with KS2 of the National Curriculum. The usage of each punctuation is explained simply with examples, followed by some simple exercises to check for and reinforce students’ understanding. An answer key is provided. Covers: Ending Punctuation Capitalisation Commas (and dependent clauses) Inverted Commas Apostrophes Colons and Semi-Colons Parenthesis (Brackets, Commas and Dashes) Dash, Hyphen and Ellipsis Worksheet and Answer Key are offered in both Word and PDF format to facilitate editing and printing respectively. Worksheet includes simple black-and-white graphics. Worksheet is challenging so it is good for older students (KS3) as well. Some sections can be adapted for younger students (KS1). This is a set of 4 worksheets (24 pages in total). I used this to prepare my own students for the English component of the ISEB Pretests. They can be quite challenging, so they are appropriate for those preparing for the ISEB 11+ tests as well. Questions are in multiple choice format. The question style is very similar to the actual ISEB Pretests. The 4 worksheets: Worksheet 1: Grammar, Spelling and Sentence Completion Worksheet 2: Voabulary, Punctuation and Sentence Completion Worksheet 3: Spelling and Punctuation Worksheet 4: Grammar, Punctuation and Sentence Completion Answers provided. Worksheets come in both PDF and Word format for printing and editing respectively.
