These are the NEW recently updated (Oct 2017) specification for all the TEAM sports for the New Edexcel GCSE PE '03' NEA component of the course. It contains the set skills list for 10 marks and what the application of skills in a competitive context should be like (25 marks). One word document contains all the team sports (bar rowing and hurling/camogie - ive stuck to the most popular team sports sorry) and the list of what needs to be seen for moderation and the other word document is the set skills and application of skills list next to blank columns for names, easy to use for moderations/practical sessions etc. Just add the grade in or tick if you have seen a particular skill. These are the individual sports for the new GCSE PE course. The sheets show the set skills that are needed for 10 marks and the application of the skills in a conditioned game/competition for 25 marks. This is ideal for sheets for display or for giving to students. The other sheet has the sports and the set skills and conditioned responses on with names for staff to assign marks to for moderation/assessments.

These are page to a topic revision broadsheets for the new specification for OCR A2 PE. They cover all the topics on Anatomy & Physiology from ATP & Energy Transfer, Energy Systems, Energy Continuum, Recovery Process, Heat and Altitude. This is an end of unit test and Answer paper for the GCSE Physical Education Edexcel (New Spec 2016+) course. It covers component one (year 10) Topic 2.1 levers and 2.2 planes & axes. The questions vary in content, some are AO1 recall, some are AO2/AO3 explain and describe/evaluate. The answers are included on a separate word document in RED so its clear to see!! Included are 2 edexcel questions from their specification/Sam’s also. The test paper has a pupil peer assessment box at the back and a teacher FAR marking box at the front with grade levels from what we are using to predict at our school, so you could change it you wanted.

This is an end of unit test for GCSE Physical Education for the Edexcel board (new spec 2016+). It covers Component One, Topic 3.5 (injuries & drugs) and Topic 3.6 (Warm Ups & Cool Downs). There are 29 questions over 16 pages with a 9 mark question at the end. The questions are past paper questions and also ones that I have constructed to cover the full breadth of these two topics. The answers are also attached in RED so you can clearly see how you get the marks. Good for peer marking!! I use them in year 10 for progress tests and in year 11 for revision.

These are 3 sets of revision cards for GCSE PE (Edexcel specification) on the Component 2 Topic 3 Unit: Socio-Cultural Influences. They included revision cards for 3.1 Engagement; 3.2 Commercialisation and Topic 3.3 Ethics & Socio-Cultural Issues. This is for the new specification from 2016 onwards. Each set of revision cards has the question one side and the answer on the other. Obviously they need to be printed out and folded back. Good for students to peer assess and good for revision if there not sure what they dont know!! I use them in class to test each other. Topic 3.1 has 6 pages. Topic 3.2 has 6 pages. Topic 3.3 has 4 pages.

This is another revision booklet for the module of AS & A2 Acquisition of Skill for the new OCR specification. It is a colourful booklet that contains a contents page where the 7 topics of skill are listed with columns for GOOD, MEDIUM, POOR for knowledge. This booklet also contains the A2 topic Memory also, on Craik & Lockart & Atkinson & Schiffren. Then in colour coded fashion there are lots of questions on each of the topics with a blank box for the student to write in the answer. This helps to see what students know/don’t know!! I have found it useful with my students, as it reminds them a) what topics there are!! and b) what they have forgotten!!

I have made them & used them all for my students and they have grasped every area very well. There are end of unit tests and mock exam questions (1 question from every one of the 7 topics) too.

This is a bundle of resources for the A2 Module of Acqusition of Skill for OCR. There is only 1 topic and its MEMORY. This resource contains a powerpoint (with 22 slides) with all of the information on the 2 memory models: Atkinson and Shiffren’s Multi Store Model and Craik & Lockharts Level of Processing Model. Included is a crossword and some memory questions, with 4 worksheets, including a critically evaluate fill in table. Also a revision sheet with all the essential information to remember for display around the classroom. There are also some revision cards on memory (these will need to be printed out and folded so the question is one side and the answers on the other).
