I have been a musician for as long as he can remember, my early years were shaped by travelling across Europe performing with a traditional jazz band. I spent four years mainly in France, followed by a further four years in Spain, I went on to serve as Director of Performing Arts at Spen Valley High School for 23 years, where I was lucky to inspire generations of young musicians. I had a particular passion for creating resources for secondary music education and, through this work developed the highly successful YouTube channel Spen Valley Music, now widely used in secondary schools across the country for guitar and ukulele tutorials and playalongs.
