I created this resource as I wanted a simple script with as many playscript features on as possible.
It can be used for Key Stage 2/3. I used it for Year 5 & 6. There is a playscript template with prompts for pupils to use following teacher input.
I wanted some word problems based on Anglo-Saxons for our topic week at school, so I produced this. I realise that present calendars are not exactly the same as Anglo-Saxon calendars, but for the purposes of this lesson, I used Anglo-Saxon equivalent names for the days and months. The actual dates are historically accurate, I believe. There are 3 differentiated sections (we use Apprentice, Graduate and Master) that can be edited to suit your class. Answers included too.
