This is a Powerpoint document that I’m using with my GCSE Music class this year. It’s designed to allow students to keep a digital record of their composition progress in line with the three monitoring checks required by Eduqas. I wanted to have a document that would allow students to update easily and store within the local shared area. Two resources to support learners in their analysis and revision for this set work. The student sheet focuses on the key areas for revision with short descriptions and brief analysis including short musical excerpts. There are two slides - the first is without detail , the second is fully completed. The second resource is a jigsaw grid focusing on the musical elements for this piece. There are three slides here; one empty, one completed and one without any text so it can be used for other revision purposes.

Revision questions for Eduqas GCSE Music. This resource has been designed for revision during registration It is literally 10 questions to be completed in 10 minutes. It is also useful for form tutors and wider school staff members to see what GCSE music involves by placing a revision activity outside of our normal teaching area. We will be marking in the following class session and using this a the starter activity. This is simply meant to focus a range of key terms and understanding. Providing the student with a really useful revision guide.

This is our "*** Knowledge Organiser "*** for our first unit of work with year 7 in Key Stage 3 Music. It includes our key words, focused listening and other useful reference material. It is designed to be visually interesting and link to our main musical elements using MAD T SHIRTS. It encourages the use of Look, cover, write, check for key words. Hope you find it useful!

This has been used as a supporting document to develop literacy and understanding for the Unit of work "Renaissance Melody" The powerpoint includes automation with images and audio / visuals to support the key terms. ALL mp3s and mp4s are included. A really useful and supportive resource. Also included a ppt for printing with images to support key terms.

This is a really straightforward document that we have been using with our new year 10s, so that they can develop some simple research skills and familiarize themselves with the suggested styles from RSL. All styles included with spaces for students to make a note of prolific tracks, albums and dates when they actually happened. This document is meant to encourage students to listen to a range of styles which will allow them to make informed decisions on their two final areas for their actual task. I’m uploading as a PowerPoint so that you can all edit for convenience. You could set this on a digital platform for students to edit or print out. Hopefully this will be really useful right now.
