A self marking Forms quiz for AQA A level biology, topic 3, digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. These quizzes make an affective starter, end of lesson review or consolidation activity. The questions have been designed using the wording and pictures in the syllabus as well as by simplifying real exam questions, including math.
Fully formatted Word versions of the tests and mark schemes (quick mark teacher version and more detailed version for students to self mark with) are also included.
As a sample, here is a link to the ‘gas exchange in humans’ Forms test so you can see what they look like and have a go yourself: https://forms.office.com/e/ZDxLAZVmKn
A comprehensive lesson pack including a PPT, structured notes for students to complete, practical with structured write-up, a worksheet, math problems and mark schemes.
The PPT includes an introduction to the principles of gas exchange, instructions for the practical and Fick’s law. Structured activities are built in throughout.
The structured notes pack follows along the PPT and includes questions to complete on the practical. There is also a short answer diffusion worksheet and a ‘math skills for biology’ worksheet. I get my students to complete the math sheet for prep usually.
