CHINESE NEW YEAR BINGO A prepared resource with a presentation . The reason for choosing numbers with two words maximum is because 3 words can make it confusing. https://www.tutormandarin.net/en/how-to-count-to-99-in-chinese/ Some background on how to write the numbers: 1,2,3 self explanatory…just lines stacked up on top of each other. number 4 is like a window (four sides with curtains), number five is actually 3 三 adding number 2 perpendicular to it 二, top line sky , bottom line ground., six is the even number after four so it is the top of four ( window and curtains) plus a dot. seven used to be 7 lines , 8 is the lucky number for chinese people as it divides by 2 three times the symbol used for 8 means a fork (dividing way… divide and conquer …), 9 is the same as 7 it had 9 lines.
