Bonfire Night Resource Pack EYFS/KS1

10 activities for EYFS and KS1 with a Bonfire Night theme.

1. Children talk about the scene in the picture and colour in the black and white version to match the colour picture.
2. Children have a colour picture showing children with their sparklers. Children write about the picture.
3. A counting and writing activity. Children count and answer the questions e.g. how many rockets can they see.
4. A starter for a Bonfire Night poster for children to complete.
5. Children write in the missing numbers on the rockets and then colour them in.
6. The beginning of a story about Peter on Bonfire Night for children to complete.
7. The beginning of a story about Stella on Bonfire Night for children to complete.
8. 5 Safety First rules for children to read and then trace over. The pictures support reading.
9. Children write out 5 safety rules of their own on this sheet.
10. Children read the number rhyme and then write and illustrate a simple one of their own.
