This is a complete scheme of work bundle that covers a whole term’s worth of work that dives into both woodwork, printing and textiles practical skills. This project is suitable to teach to year 9 and upwards as it requires basic understanding and skill in both timbers and textiles.

The project begins with design work, research into William Morris and existing products, identifies a live client, experiments with stencil and block printing techniques in order to create a multi-skilled product.

Students are encouraged to use both market research and designer theory to develop their print patterns.
