This lesson follows on from the Maslow Lesson

This lesson / resource covers Motivation and deals with the other Theories (Taylor, McGregor, Herzberg) with the following learning objectives and been designed for GCSE Business Studies. This resource has one lesson.

Lesson Learning objectives/Outcomes:

  • Know the effects of motivation on work output and quality
  • Understand the main theories of motivation
  • Taylor, Herzberg – Motivator and Hygiene Factors, McGregor – Theory X and Theory Y
  • Apply the main theories of motivation to real world examples

The Resource also covers:

All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1 hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required.
