Refugee Posters

This resource contains 75, A3-sized posters on the theme of refugees and asylum seekers. There are two sets - one set without borders and one set with borders. They are also available on an editable PowerPoint so that captions can be added.

This is an ideal resource for Refugee Day and Refugee week. The posters could be used for a number of purposes:

for display
to stimulate creative writing
to stimulate discussion
to use in drama

Refugee Simulation Pack and Worksheets

This resource contains an asylum seeker/refugee simulation activity pack.
It includes an editable lesson plan, a simulation activity and a set of follow-up activities. The simulation, in PowerPoint form, contains 8 scenarios. Pupils are divided into groups and are required to make decisions/take actions. Some of the scenarios are accompanied by a timer with dramatic music playing to simulate the confusion in which refugees have to make quick decisions.

Refugees Are Human Beings PowerPoint Slide Show With Music

This is a powerful and poignant slideshow, accompanied by music, about asylum seekers and refugees. A picture speaks a thousand words and these images certainly do that. This resource could be used in a variety of ways –for an assembly, to stimulate discussion and creative writing. The slides could be printed off and used for display.
