Lesson 5a for the new Sociology OCR specification, unit 1: H580
The lesson builds on the previous lesson's ideas around subcultures - a stand alone lesson if you are focusing on subcultures for the second half of the spec.

For resources, I used a range of up-to-date articles from the Guardian. I searched terms such as:
- subcultures
- female bodybuilders
- gangs
- Amish
- furry fandom
- hipsters
- punks
- goth
etc.

It's useful to use recent articles so the students can see that this is an issue that is still discussed.

This was a great aid with my lesson planning. However, it is a shame that the 'subculture evidence' wasn't included as it was one of the key activities for the lesson. Would be 5/5 if this was provided!
