#### World Cup 2018 Staff/Class Game - Sweepstake/Fantasy Football Alternative

BORED OF SWEEPSTAKES? FANTASY FOOTY TO COMPLICATED? TRY THIS EASY AND FUN ALTERNATIVE… After a successful Euro 2016 competition, I have written a World Cup 2018 competition. (Old version: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/euro-2016-staff-class-game-sweepstake-alternative-11265937) At my school, the staff loved this game, with daily emailed updates. Classes loved the game, as I ran it separately for each class. The competition is largely similar to 2 years ago, with a couple of improvements: 1. Larger leaderboard template for groups larger than 32 2. Total goals in the tournament guess will now be worth bonus points This game is really easy to play and enjoyable for staff and students. Here’s how it works: 1. Pick 8 teams from the four pots (2 from each) 2. Pick a striker (or choose your own) 3. Predict how many goals will be scored in the tournament 4. THAT'S IT! As the tournament progresses, you just update the score on the tracker and update the leading scorers list. The rest sorts itself out! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GIVE IT A GO!

#### Year 4 Consolidation - White Rose Summer Week 12

This pack of resources covers Year 4 consolidation for the 12th week of the Summer term. These assessment style questions, which follow an ‘I do, we do, you do’ structure, are designed to be used as consolidation questions for the White Rose Y4 units including: Decimals Money Time Statistics Properties of shape A suggested way to use this resource would be for the teacher to first model answering the question (I do). Then, the teacher guides the children answering the second question (we do). Finally, the children answer a question independently (you do). Overall, there are 40 different questions in this resource, with 3 variations of each question: giving a total of 120 questions. We hope you find these worksheets useful and save you time planning. We aim to produce resources which are of the highest quality - we strongly believe that the visual aspects of these worksheets enable deep understanding of the areas being taught. Once you have used these resources, we would love to hear what worked particularly well and what could be improved on: we often edit our resources. Thank you for taking your time to browse this resource! @mathsteryed
