La planète en danger AQA GCSE Higher (2) - Authentic Resources!

This lesson takes students to the next level and is an excellent resource for groups that benefit from stretch. It also keeps students engaged as it is entirely based on authentic resources. This is higher level, and could also be used at AS level as a recap. This lesson follows on from my first resource (same title) and encompasses: Starter - Recaps last lessons vocab 1 - Listening: Authentic (and engaging!) video on climate change. Worksheet provided for true and false statements. 2 - Reading: Authentic article from Radio France Internationale. Match French to English words firstly, then true or flase statements. Finally full questions. 3 - Yannick Noah song - students listen and fill in the blanks for the chorus. Enough material here for 2 full lessons! I hope you and your students enjoy!

Closely follows the AQA textbook but brings the resources for life and enables students to begin manipulating this higher level language. Enough in this power point for 2 lessons unless the group is very able. Art and Artists project for primary partnership schools

This project will focus on different French-speaking and British artists. The children will learn about who the artists are, where they are from and look at their artwork – deciding whether or not they like/dislike their work. The children will then create their own artwork in the style of that artist. This project is suitable for 2 to as many partner schools as possible.

French Dictionary – Mon Dictionnaire Français.

This is a fun printable dictionary for pupils to use as a reference and also to record the French vocabulary they are learning during their studies. It starts with six reference pages, which include the vocabulary for: numbers 1 – 100; colours; days, months, seasons; weather; time and animals. Following this are 26 pages, each has a letter of the alphabet, with example words for each letter and the rest of the page is left blank for students to fill in as they go along. There are also some completely blank pages at the end if students fill up an alphabet page. This can all be printed in black and white and the pages can be put in a duotang or made into a booklet.
