I am a professional school social worker, a native English speaker, and also fluent in Spanish with near-native fluency. I possess social work licenses in good standing in New York and in Virginia. I am also a published author of non-fiction. My areas of teaching strength are writing and oral communication, and I have worked with a dozen elementary school children over the years whose home language was Spanish and I helped them to enrich their ability to read and write English and thus excel in school in the United States. I am experienced in working with children on their emotional health and their ability to choose more productive thoughts in order to experience less anxiety and reduce negative feelings.
