The pennants in this download are focused on adding fractions with different denominators and include questions where students have to simplify and convert to mixed numbers. There are 30 different pennant versions with 2 addtional blank pennants to put your own questions on or for students to put their own questions on. The questions vary in difficulty. Answer key is included.
Once each pennant is complete, students can colour or decorate them and they can be strung across the room or on display boards for easy recap and review in lesson.
Students will be engaged and enjoy practising adding fractions with this activity.
In this pennant activity students must evaluate partial fractions to find A and B. These questions are the easiest type of partial fraction without quadratics in the denominator.
Once the pennant is complete it can be hung in the class with string to make a display.
There are 2 pennants per page with a total of 20 pennants and 2 blank pennants for students to create their own (or the teacher to add more difficult questions). Answer key is also included.
Students can colour or design their own pennant once it is completed.
You could hold a competition to see which group of students can complete the most pennants first. A fun, engaging activity for the classroom.
Practice using index laws (multiplication law and division law) with this great set of 12 problems. Students will work on multiplying and dividing using index laws. Angles in Parallel Lines Pennant Activity
This is a fun way for students to practice solving problems related to angles in parallel lines! Students must have an understanding of alternate, corresponding, co-interior, vertically opposite, complementary, and supplementary angles. Students must answer the question and colour the pennant. These can be put on string or simply stuck around the room for an engaging display.
