These resources have been created to aid both teachers and parents teach younger children from 11 to 14. They have been designed to give a basic introduction to a range to topics in junior Science. Each resource takes the form of a booklet to be printed out and completed by the student. It has been produced in black and white to aid reproduction of numerous copies. The booklets consist of a title page, learning intentions and key words page and then a series of tasks to teach the subject. The booklets would make an excellent introduction to most Physics, Chemistry and Biology topics studied while in secondary/high school. In addition, home schooled children could be guided through these resources with just basic specialist knowledge. Each booklet comes with a completed “teacher copy” with all tasks filled in so that the teacher can ensure that all learners are consistent with their work. The booklet is for the topic of electricity and includes , current, voltage, series and parallel circuits. There is also an introduction to static electricity.
