They self mark, providing immediate feedback to pupils and the data can be quickly analyzed to give whole class feedback.

The PPT includes an introduction to the principles of gas exchange, instructions for the practical and Fick’s law. Structured activities are built in throughout. The structured notes pack follows along the PPT and includes questions to complete on the practical. There is also a short answer diffusion worksheet and a ‘math skills for biology’ worksheet. I get my students to complete the math sheet for prep usually.
