I use these resources with Year 8 as an introduction into James I. We first of all act out the story of the Gun Powder plot. We then look at whether the plotters were framed. We then put Cecil and Guy Fawkes on trial. Enjoy and use as you wish.

I use this lesson to introduce GCSE skills that the students will need to know getting ready for their exam. This is a mock exam that follows the same structure as the GCSE exam questions, but it uses sources based on Diet Coke vs Coke Zero. Included in this pack is all of the lesson resources and structure mats that can be used throughout the whole course.
