Support Cards - Red Amber Green

(0)
A4 Sheet of red, amber green cards These cards have proved invaluable in my classroom especially for KS3 and have allowed me to quickly assess the progress being made by pupils. Shy pupils are also able to ask for support discretely without raising their hands. The android mods have also proven popular.
Weight and Mass (Year 7 & 8)

Weight and Mass (Year 7 & 8)

The resource includes a sort card activity and a storyboard about an elephant that goes into space and its journey through space. Pupils enjoyed it especially the storyboard which i let them draw themselves. Works really well with low ability pupils and gets them thinking about the differences between weight and mass. The overall concept would still need cementing but is great for years 7 and 8 (low ability) who will revisit it in year 9.
