I have been teaching KS3 Design Technology, Food Technology and KS4 Hospitality and Catering for almost 9 years. Most of my KS4 resources have been created for teaching the past and present WJEC Hospitality and Catering. Many hours have gone into making all of my resources but once purchased, feel free to adapt my resources to suit your own style. Please do not however resell them as your own. Any questions please ask :)

Fakeaway Food Technology Mini Project

(1)
This is a great little mini project which can also be upscaled and made into a bit of a dragons den style competition amongst students working in teams to produce the most innovative street food item. This can easily be used as simply a research and design based project or taken further where students can make and evaluate their own food product in a practical setting.
Seasonal Fruit and Vegetable Task

Seasonal Fruit and Vegetable Task

(0)
Suitable as a stand alone lesson for cover or an extension task. Students can watch the video about seasonal foods and engage in discussion prior to complete their own seasonal fruit and vegetable calendar and embedding this new knowledge into their own dish creations. It is worthwhile printing the calendars double sided and laminating so that this resource can be used again and again.

Year 7 Food Homework x2

(0)
Two homework tasks plus answers based for year 7 Food Technology students. First homework is based on food safety, whilst the second is based on the Eatwell Guide. A powerpoint with both homeworks is included with the answers so that students could self or peer assess their own work.

Super Fruit and Veg Cover/ Extension Task

(0)
Students are to use their knowledge of the benefits of eating fruit and vegetables to create a ‘super veg or fruit’ to promote healthy eating. The resource includes one slide to explain the task, a printable student worksheet plus a knowledge organiser. This could be used as a stand alone lesson or could be used as an extension to prior learning. Students can use the learning mat to find the information themselves. Any questions please ask
