Provide personalised feedback to individual students in your class at the same time.

Have you ever wondered how to provide feedback to all of your students at the same time?

Now you can, by using this interactive retrieval practice worksheet and resource on the skeletal system.

This retrieval practice resource, with 32 questions, is a quick and easy way for your students to review their learning and to succinctly answer exam style questions. It is ideal for independent learning and it gives students the feedback they need immediately, without having to wait for you to confirm they have answered the question correctly or explain why they have got it wrong.

How can my students use this resource?

Students answer the question in the first column of the worksheet without referring to any notes or having any assistance. They need to think hard to remember what the answer might be - this is retrieval practice. When they have completed the question they scan the QR code using their device and a short YouTube video provides them with the model answer. The students check their responses and the space in the third column provides the opportunity for them to improve their answer if this is necessary.

In what other ways can I use this resource?

This resource comes in a variety of formats. As well as the Word and PDF documents of the worksheet you will also receive a PowerPoint of the 32 questions which can be displayed on your whiteboard as starter or plenary activity or as an interleaving activity when you are studying another topic and of course for revision.

The resource can also be printed as smaller slides which can then be displayed on your classroom walls and in and around the PE department and in the changing rooms. In this way the students can answer the questions and scan the QR code to receive immediate feedback without teachers having to be present.

“This is a massive time saver and while other students are working through the worksheet it frees me up in lessons to provide tailored support to the students that need it most.”
