A week’s worth of planning and worksheets to teach your Year 6 pupils how to master measurement and converting units. They will learn how to convert between standard units, converting units for length, mass, volume, time and temperature, using decimal notation. They will solve problems involving units of measurement and use approximate conversions for imperial units of measurement including miles.

The resources are differentiated. They include plenty of fluency practice as well as reasoning and mastery.

Answers are provided. Editable versions of each PDF are included, created in Microsoft Word 2010.

All lessons will fit in with White Rose planning.
