Regular preterit missing element practice

*Students will complete a total of 18 sentences (6- ar, 6 -er, 6 -ir). A structured template with 3 columns is provided.

Example:

Complete each sentence by adding the missing element in the middle column. The missing element can be 2-3 words and should logically fit with the sentence. For the last column, write a clue word from the word bank below.

Re-write the subject and verb in the first column.

Word bank for the last column (Use in any order): ayer / anoche / una vez / anteayer / la semana pasada / esta mañana

Possible answer: Yo Yo hablé con mi amigo ayer.
