Each scenario contains the details of a fictional situation that schools might face linked to safeguarding. These can be explored with staff members to ensure they understand the safeguarding issue that’s being presented to them and how you’d expect them to react based on your school’s policies and procedures. As DSL or safeguarding lead, there’s an opportunity for you to then follow up on any areas that weren’t identified.
