Supply Teacher Folder

Supply Teacher Folder

Whenever a teacher needs a day off for sickness or a course, it can sometimes feel like more work to not be in school than it is to be in it. I created this document to make leaving my class with a supply teacher easier for all involved. I know how hard supply teachers work and I know how hard it is to walk into a class and not know the children or the timetable. This folder allows you to keep all the crucial information that a supply teacher needs to know about your class. Just edit the document and include everything that a supply teacher could need to know, print it off, put it in a folder and leave it on your desk! I’ve included a supply teacher feedback form in the download so you can be easily updated on how the day went, who behaved, messages you missed etc

They Walk Amongst Us

They Walk Amongst Us

After the horrific events in Parkland Florida I am encouraging everyone to download this FREE resource that explains why we have to take a tougher stance when disciplining children and stop soft peddling when it comes down to consequences. Political correctness needs to be looked at closely in relationship to students and adults who because of their digital footprint have proven that they are a danger to society.

E-safety Workbook and Lessons Bundle (Years 1, 2 & 3 internet safety)

E-safety Workbook and Lessons Bundle (Years 1, 2 & 3 internet safety)

This is a great set of internet safety resources for Years 1, 2 and 3, which gives you everything you need for teaching about general internet safety and the dangers of cyberbullying. Included: *General internet safety lesson/assembly - covers online safety rules and a broad introduction to the topic. *Cyberbullying lesson/assembly - what it is, how to avoid it and what to do if you see it. *Printable workbook of 12 independent tasks to support the above lessons. Also includes a certificate for completing the 'course'. Planning and differentiated activities are also included in both of the lessons. These lessons and activities are probably best suited for Years 2 and 3, but can easily be used in Year 1 too. Supports the following objective from the UK computer science curriculum: KS1: 'Use technology safely and respectfully, keeping personal information private; identify where to go for help and support when they have concerns about content or contact on the internet or other online technologies.' Is The Behavior Conduct Or Clinical?

Is The Behavior Conduct Or Clinical?

Teachers will respond or react to a student who exhibits verbal or physical conduct problems. I mean, that’s our job right? But what about the kid whose head is down on his desk, the kid who is just so quiet that you wonder what is going on behind those eyes, the kid who is disaffected but really is not a behavior problem at all? Often we can be so concerned about the outward conduct of our students that the disaffected kid can get lost in the sauce. This kid needs our help.

Student Friendly Weekly Behavior Tracker Form

Student Friendly Weekly Behavior Tracker Form

Check out this fun and student friendly template to supplement your pre-exisiting three color behavior system. Since so many teachers out there use the cute traffic light system of red, yellow and green, this is a great way to keep track of what color students landed on each day and why. This serves as great documentation for the teacher, parents and student. Each day of the week students will fill in a color, and check one of the boxes below for why they received that color such as they need to work on following directions, or staying on task or being respectful. Be sure to check out our other weekly trackers as well!
