This is a full unit of work for the Edexcel IGCSE Civil Rights unit. It contains information on the entire topic over 12 lessons. The Red Scare and McCarthyism Civil Rights Movements led by Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Betty Freidan. Finishing with Vietnam, Nixon and Watergate. There is homework and differentiated tasks. This unit covers it all and ticks all the OFSTED boxes. I have included videos many of which are Sources (Primary Sourced) and the ‘I have a dream speech.’ There are also two YouTube Videos detailing the US government structure and a timeline of the Civil Rights movement.
