Entry Level Big Grammar Book 101 worksheets for English lessons featuring Essential English worksh

(0)
It’s jam-packed from cover to cover with a great selection of photocopiable worksheets taken from the popular website. We wanted to provide teachers with a really useful book of no-nonsense grammar worksheets that they can dip into and use in class with students at Entry Level (ESOL Core Curriculum Entry Levels 1 & 2). It is also ideal for students to work with at home since the answers are all printed at the back. The book is divided into four parts and is graded in difficulty, so that it begins with some basic stuff and builds up to more challenging grammar activities. It features a selection of Essential English worksheets which provide practice for crucial basic areas of knowledge for learners at Entry Level, like using numbers, writing the alphabet, spelling days and months correctly, and so on.

Big Grammar Book 2 - 101 worksheets for English lessons for Elementary Level (A1 / A2)

(1)
, BGB 2 is packed with 101 printable worksheets for teaching and improving grammar skills in English. The topics are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that cover the basics, like the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time; then tenses (a lot about tenses!), then irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and so on! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this one. Around 25% of the worksheets in this book are closely modelled on activities in BGB 1, for example Full Stops 1 & 2 (pp.68-69). The material starts off at beginner level, with the alphabet worksheets, then gets progressively more difficult, while staying in Elementary (A1 / A2) level. Only towards the end do things get “tougher”, with articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs making their inevitable appearance! Don’t worry – all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book. English teachers can use big grammar book 2 in class, although it may be better to use the worksheets for homework and let students focus on speaking and listening and group work – producing language – in class. It is ideal for private study – i.e. homework or self-study – and also for use in online lessons. Teachers can adapt the worksheets in this book, and I would positively encourage them to treat many of the pages as templates for producing their own activities. For example, the sentence building worksheets (from p.60) would be ideal for adaptation, among many others. I hope you enjoy learning English with big grammar book 2! Remember, a good understanding of English grammar will open doors of opportunity.

Year 6 2016 SPAG Interactive Whiteboard Sample Test Paper 1 And Answers

I have created a PowerPoint presentation combining Paper 1 and the mark scheme so you can ask a question, and immediately see the answer and the explanation. This is great for a wide range of different circumstances. If the students have completed the test this lets the teacher review the paper question by question. It also a great what of revising grammar at the whole class level. Each student shows the answer on whiteboard and then immediately check their answers. A variety of questions has been included in this sample test to demonstrate the formats and curriculum content that pupils may encounter in a live test. A commentary is provided in the mark scheme that accompanies each question. This sample test mark scheme is provided to give teachers an indication of how the tests will be marked. The mark schemes for the sample tests have been subject to a shorter process than the full, rigorous development process that is used for live mark schemes. The sample test and mark schemes have been reviewed by teachers and other expert reviewers.

These worksheets are designed to be used time and again with different books. These are designed to be used in guided reading sessions. Many of the worksheets are designed in such a way that a student can complete them independently. However, to get the maximum out of this book, I would highly recommend these worksheets are used to consolidate the learning taking place in the classroom. Another use of this set of worksheets is additional homework sheets. I have used these sheets very effectively as a way of checking to see if students have read their book and do fully understand what they have read. I hope you enjoy this book and that your students are inspired to take a more active, more motivated role in their own learning.

Qatar History And Citizenship - Year 5 - 39 Weekly Lesson Plans And Worksheets

(0)
Qatar History and Citizenship is a compulsory subject for any primary school teacher in Qatar. When I taught this subject in Qatar, I was surprised to discover how thin the student text book was, how little resources were available for students on the Internet and that there was no teacher guide to help teachers effectively teach this subject. This Year 2 teaching pack contains lesson plans and additional worksheets to support 39 weekly lessons. These lessons cover all a student needs to know about the subject, and the lessons are designed to motivate and excite a student's interest in the history around them. These worksheets could be printed out and used as workbooks in the classroom, sent home as additional homework or shared via an interactive whiteboard. *** Please note that these resources are designed to be used with the official text book, not as a replacement. ***

The students think about each of their senses in turn, smelling, touching, tasting, hearing and seeing. They make notes about each of these. They then write a full description of the picture. This worksheet will help them to write richer descriptions. These worksheets are a great way of preparing for the KS1 SATs tests and the KS2 SATs tests while still having a lot of fun! You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different locations, ships and pirates being shown in each of the photos. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching set of story prompts. The students could also take five of the laminated photos and create them into a story .
