As a class, children will read and examine the novel ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ by Michael Morpurgo. Children will examine the main characters in the story and use drama techniques to empathise with the characters. They will have the opportunity to deduce and infer information based on what they have read and give their own opinions about the text.
