ON THE FIRST DAY OF FITNESS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME....
The following activity “the 12 Days of Fitness” stemmed from an activity that is in my PE Christmas Games and Activities- “Holly Jolly Fun” product. The activity needed some good old “Christmas spice” so I developed some graphic signs that can be placed in a visible area of your gym or classroom for reference as the activity plays out.
This fun and exciting Christmas movement activity gives the students a chance to perform a number of health and skill-related fitness exercises that compound on each other, using the style of the “Twelve Days of Christmas” song. The students will love the signs and the movement and want to repeat the activity many times during the weeks leading up to the holiday season.
The 12 Days of Fitness- PE and Classroom Movement Activity includes a cover page, 1 comprehensive activity plan, and 12 fitness signs with Christmas-related/fitness graphics and lyrics embedded in the signs.
