Assessing progress against learning objectives
A single A4 sheet which I use mainly for English and maths to assess progress during the week. The one uploaded is for maths (but you can easily change to suit your needs). On the left hand side I write in the name of the children (according to their groups). In the boxes at the top I write the 4/5 objectives for the week. Then I just record against each child's name a / = if they are not secure /\ = if they are almost there /_\ = (this should be a triangle but can't seem to manage it on here) This I use if child is secure and can teach someone else how to do it. I have found it a very useful at a glance progress sheet. Perhaps someone else might benefit from it too. Would be interested to know if anyone finds it useful. Thanks.
