This resource contains three Christmas-themed Maths resources on coordinates in the first quadrant: Battleships team game on an interactive PowerPoint. There are three different grids to provide hours of fun! It can be administered to a whole class. It includes team score sheet. Great for reinforcing coordinates in the first quadrant. Suggestions for use: - Divide group / class into teams. Let the teams choose a Christmas-themed name - eg The Elves, The snowmen. Teams take turns to choose a coordinate. One point for each image located. Two points for an animated image. A thumbs-down means no point scored. A Christmas-themed battleships game to introduce and reinforce the teaching of coordinates. There are 10 grids which can be used to play with a partner. These could be laminated and used time and time again. There is also a coordinates record sheet and a score sheet. A set of 5 Christmas-themed worksheets containing a variety of tasks and exercises on locating coordinates in the first quadrant. Answers are included.
