This resource contains a 30 question PowerPoint quiz on the Mexican Festival / Holiday of Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) which is celebrated on 1st and 2nd November. Day of the Dead is a time when Mexicans remember and honour their departed family members and friends. This is a fun way to check the pupils’ understanding of the traditions of the festival and the reasons why it is celebrated. Answers can be given either as you go along or at the end of the quiz. The answers can be found by clicking on the skull image at the bottom right-hand corner of each slide. There is also a sheet for pupils to record their answers.
