Aimed at Y5 and Y6 pupils to help develop a systematic approach to problem solving. Covers investigative/ problem solving objectives and includes calculations. Material for at least 2 lessons linked to the popular theme of planning a party and creating a budget. Pupils will be motivated by the opportunity to make their own choices when planning a party! 3 way differentiation which really challenges the most able whilst providing support for the less able. Answers are provided and suggestions for how to use this resource and how to provide extra support if needed.
