3 investigations involving timetables and calculating time intervals aimed at Year 4, but also suitable for lower ability Year 5 or Year 6. Activity cards and a blank timetable help pupils to explore different options. “Mike’s timetable” is a logic problem in which pupils need to follow instructions to create a delivery timetable. It also involves recording times in analogue and 24 hour clock. The answers to this investigation are provided at the end of this resource. Finally pupils are challenged to find their exact age.
